About Dielectric Polymers

Dielectric Polymers, Inc. merged with Stik-II Products, Inc. of Easthampton, Mass., a pressure sensitive foam tape manufacturer, in June 2002. As a result of this partnership, a holding company, Adhesive Applications, Inc., was formed which unites the strengths of two companies with more than 50 years of combined industry experience.

For more than 30 years, Dielectric Polymers has manufactured adhesive tapes and films for bonding a wide variety of industrial applications. Our facility, located in Holyoke, Massachusetts, comprises 45,000 square feet of manufacturing, shipping, warehouse and office space. Using a 56 inch reverse roll coater, we can provide tapes and films with a dry coat thickness from .0005 inches to .005 inches. We can convert our coated products in widths from ¼ inch to our base roll size of 54 inches by rewind or baloney slitting, based upon the material to be processed.

Dielectric Polymers coats pressure-sensitive rubber, acrylic and silicone adhesives on a release liner as free transfer films, ideal for use in graphic arts, appliance, automotive and aerospace applications. A variety of self-wound tapes constructed of silicone adhesive coated on polyester, nylon and polyimide film are designed for electronics, aerospace, powder coating, high temperature splicing and automotive applications. Heat activated dry film adhesives and double coated tapes are utilized for permanent mounting applications and component assembly.

Many of our products are U.L. approved and comply with various military, automotive, aerospace and electronic specifications. From the handling of incoming raw materials through the manufacturing process to the packaging of finished goods, our Statistical Process Control system ensures that the highest level of quality is maintained to meet stringent customer specifications.

We stock an extensive inventory of standard products in base roll stock at our Holyoke plant for immediate slitting to customer orders.
