Splicing Tapes Dielectric Polymers has diversified its line of splicing tapes to meet
just about any need in industrial splicing. Our splicing tapes are designed
for splicing silicone release coated paper and film in elevated temperatures
or in conditions where high initial tack is required, for photo processing,
in label or pressure sensitive coating applications that require a functional
splice and for flying splice/overlap splicing applications.

Functional
Splicing Tapes: Linered and Self-Wound
Linered Splicing Tapes:
NT-9511-2DL, 9511-2CDL Adhesive: Crosslinked silicone Backing: Polyester film with a specialized release coating
on the backside Liner: Polyester release liner Thickness: 2.5 mils Colors: Blue, clear Continuous Temperature Resistance: -60º F to 350º F (-51º C
to 177º C)
Applications: Splicing roll label stock and substrates to be coated with pressure
sensitive adhesive Splicing in sequential label and automatically applied label applications
Features: Reduces material loss - there is no loss of labels at the splice
area which is a critical factor in sequential label applications Specialized release coating allows adhesive release at the splice
area, provides easy removal of the matrix and maintains registration
through the splice High adhesion and tensile strength for strong splices
Self-Wound Splicing
Tape: NT-6511-2SW Adhesive: Crosslinked silicone Backing: Polyester film with a specialized release coating
on the backside Thickness: 2.5 mils Color: Fluorescent pink Continuous Temperature Resistance: -60º F to 350º F (-51º C
to 177º C)
Applications: Splicing roll label stock and substrates to be coated with pressure
sensitive adhesive
Splicing in sequential label and automatically applied label applications
Features: Easy, one-step splicing – no liner to remove Reduces material loss - there is no loss of labels at the splice
area which is a critical factor in sequential label applications Specialized release coating allows adhesive release at the splice
area, provides easy removal of the matrix and maintains registration
through the splice High adhesion and tensile strength for strong splices Available in a variety of film and adhesive gauges and colors on
a custom basis
